Holland (Director, Screenwriter, Producer). American Film Institute,
Los Angeles, USA (MFA Directing).
Assistant director for over 25 international
feature and TV productions. As of 1989 director and writer for TV movies,
series and features. Teacher at film schools and academies in Munich
(HFF), Berlin (DFFB) and Film Academy Baden-Würtenberg Ludwigsburg.

Ms Anne Theron

sign? Not sure…
Has studied law, which turned out to be totally useless… Well,
so it seems, anyway.
First novel at the age of 23. Three other novels published quickly. Continues
to write but does not publish anymore, for the time being…
Worked as screenwriter and script doctor on TV until 1997 and also wrote for
cinema.
Wrote and directed short and medium length films, then has travelled to festivals
and directed her first feature film in 2004 (“Ce qu’ils imaginent”).
She is currently working on the second one.
Writes and publishes for theatre. Has directed four plays, including “La
Religieuse” from Diderot and “Antigone Hors-la-loi” adapted
from Sophocles, which is on tour right now. She is preparing the staging of her
fifth.
She has a weakness for white wine, especially Bourgogne…

Ms Trish McAdam

Trish McAdam films include: SNAKES AND LADDERS 1996 (writer/director),
1998 HOODWINKED (director/producer), a three-part TV series, 2002, FLIRTING
WITH THE LIGHT (director/producer) – a television documentary.
Currently directing a TV documentary WHAT AM I DOING HERE? and writing
a screenplay adaptation the James Stephen’s novel, THE CROCK OF
GOLD.
Founder member of Temple Bar Studios, Filmmakers Ireland, Screen
Directors Guild of Ireland (Chair 2002-2006, current board member), former
board member of Irish Film Institute and Cork Film Festival.

M. Kurt Mayer

at the University of Vienna. Involved in various art and performance
projects and Austrian feature films. Director and producer of documentaries
for TV and for theatrical release.
President of the Austrian Filmmakers Association and Treasurer of the
Austrian Directors Association (ADA). Curator of the Vienna Film Fund.
Member of the Advisory Board of the Fernsehfonds Austria (RTR).

Ms Birgitte Staermose

Denmark
Birgitte Stærmose, a Copenhagen based director, holds an MFA from
Temple University, Philadelphia, USA. Her award-winning shorts have screened
worldwide. SMALL AVALANCHES, based on a short story by Joyce Carol Oates,
won UIP Prize for Best European Short at Edinburgh IFF 2003 and was nominated
for Best European Short at the European Film Awards. Birgitte Stærmose
has directed a monologue for the compilation film LETTERS FROM DENMARK
- a reaction to the Mohammed cartoon crisis - which is aired on Al Arabyia
in 2007. PRINCIPLES OF ATTRACTION, four stories about four women, is
her latest film. SOPHIE is the last of these stories and as a short premiered
at the Sundance Film Festival 2007. Birgitte Stærmose is currently
writing and directing her first play, LOVE BITES, for Aveny T, a major
theatre in Copenhagen.

M. György Gém

director and producer.
1982-1998 employed by the Hungarian Television as a director. Director and producer
of several documentaries, TV drama, music, dance, opera and show. More than 100
TV programmes.
1994-1997 Member of the Art and Cultural Experts Group of EBU (European Broadcasting
Union).
In 1994 founded UMPA Culture Management Agency: manager and freelance producer.
One of the founding member of HSD (Hungarian Society of Directors) and Chairman
from 1996 to 2006.
2000 Author of libretto and producer of "East Side Story" opera/theatre
and TV production.
2001-2003 produced and directed documentary portraits for MTV
Hungary.
M. Igor Koršic

Graduated with a degree in Social Sciences, Philosophy
and Cinema at the University of Stockhom in 1975. PhD on André Bazin from
the University of Stockholm in 1988. Igor Korši?’s teaching
career started at the University of Stockholm in 1977. Professor of
History and Theory of Cinema at the Academy for Film, TV, Radio & Television
(AGRFT) at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Has written and adapted
a number of screenplays. Author of a theatre play on Marlene Dietrich
entitled Blue Angel (1990). Has published and translated a
number of books and articles on cinema.
Coordinator of international scriptwriting program Re-sources, member
of the boards of European training and development programs ‘Sources’ and ‘East
of Eden’. Chair of the CILECT Kalos K'Agathos, a research project.
Former member of the executive board of the Slovene Filmmakers’ Association.
Former member of the managing board of the Film Fund of the Republic
