CEO

Cécile Despringre has been appointed CEO of FERA in March 2006.

Born in 1973, Cécile Despringre has studied international and European law at the University of Law of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and graduated in International Economic Law in 1996. Following an internship at the European Commission delegation in Geneva in 1997, she started working as an Executive in charge of European affairs at SACD (the French collective management society for authors of life performance and audiovisual works) in Brussels and became the Legal advisor of FERA and AIDAA (International Association of Audiovisual Authors). In 2001, she moved to Paris and was promoted Deputy Director for European affairs and multilateral negotiations at SACD in 2002. Married with one child, Cecile Despringre is now back in Brussels.
